The best times to visit this trail are April through October. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash.

  • Whychus Overlook Trail

    Whychus Overlook Trail: This easy 0.9-mile loop trail takes about 19 minutes to complete and offers a peaceful walk with scenic views of Broken Top and the surrounding mountains. It’s popular for birding, hiking, and walking, and open year-round. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

    The gravel path is generally flat and about 5 feet wide. While there’s no designated accessible parking nearby, the trail’s gentle grade may be manageable with all-terrain tires or motorized equipment.

    Three Fingered Jack Trail: This 12.7-mile out-and-back trail, rated as challenging. The Three Fingered Jack trail is a 10-mile black diamond singletrack alpine route, with a hard overall physical difficulty. The trail is accessible in both directions.
